Get Out There!

Spring is in the Air…

The Air element is the element of Spring. Air stirs of the winds of change, spreads the seeds, pollen of growth not only for all of the plants on this Earth but for us too.

I like to think in terms of a swirling vortex, stirring up all of our emotions, clearing the dust. Ever get Spring fever? These are all characteristics of the Air Element.

Air is connected with our intuition, it has the ability to shift energy within all the energy centers. People with dominant Air Element personalities tend to be flighty if imbalanced. Air people live in their heads quite a bit and may require more grounding or need to make a concerted effort to ground. They tend to stir up trouble, create winds of change where ever they go.

Air has influence on and some may say over the other elements. We see this as without Air there can be no fire. Air fuels up our internal fires. Air can do likewise with water creating that internal emotional hurricane. On land Air creates it’s vortex as we see in the form of Tornados, internally with us Air can shift things causing that lack of stability that we all need to feel safe.

Air is our Breath our life force, Prana, Chi, Ki, Nwyfre. There are events in our lives that take our breath away such as a first kiss, the death of a loved one, trauma. It is imperative we stay connected to, maintain balance with the Air Element to encourage the health and longevity of our life force.
